2200 Year-Old Treasure Found in Russia

Researchers and archaeologists discover ancient tombs from 2,200 years in the Caucasus Mountains, Russia. Not only skeleton warriors, there was also found a treasure trove ranging from bronze helmet until golden plaque.

The researchers said they were very lucky to find a cemetery that has not been touched by this. As an ancient necropolis, cemetery is so coveted by many parties. Even in 2004, the tomb was never a target of the robbers treasure.



"Not only the skeleton warriors, in the cemetery is also found horse and assorted grave goods buried in it. Amount and quality of the items found in the tomb is very unique," said researchers from the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences Institute of Archaeology, Valentina Mordvintseva , as reported by News Australia, Tuesday (26/02/2013).

Among the treasures buried with the soldiers also found a few other things. In the cemetery is also found in the journal 'Ancient Civilizations' from Scythia to Siberia, more than a dozen gold artifacts, and armor.
