Wow! This man's Have wife 39 & 94 Children

Baktawng - Many people consider this as 'sacred feat'. Has 39 wives and more than 120 children and grandchildren Christian cult leader makes him the head of the world's largest family.

Not only that, Zionnghaka Chana (67) still want to add members of his family by marrying a woman again. "I could go outside the border state of Mizoram India, or even India to get married," he said as quoted Thaindian.


Starting from the playground, the school until the church, the village is a community Baktawng of one family containing 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters and 33 grandchildren.

"We are very happy and like other churches, we believe the existence of God. But there are real differences, we make our denomination could marry more than one wife, "said one son of Chana, Nunparliana.

This family is part of the Christian cult called Channa. Cult name was taken from the name of Chana's father, Challianchana, who died in 1997. The cult was founded Chana's father in the 1930s and is now spreading in four generations and reportedly has 1,700 members.

Most members of this community is now famous throughout Mizoram since its ability to carve wood and make pottery. Mizo tribe itself originally an animist until there were two British Baptist missionary, William Frederick Savidge and JH Lorrain, came to the state in 1894
